The Faculty Development Programme / Capacity Building Programme on "AI-Driven Research" will be conducted through a Learning Management System (LMS) platform, offering a flexible and accessible learning experience for both research scholars and supervisors. This programme is designed to provide participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to effectively integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their research practices, enhancing both research efficiency and quality.
The programme will introduce scholars to various AI tools and techniques that can aid in data analysis, literature review and hypothesis generation. Participants will gain practical experience in using AI to streamline their research workflows, allowing them to focus on more complex and innovative aspects of their studies.
The programme will also address the needs of research supervisors by providing tools to assist in plagiarism checking, validating research findings and correcting research work. Participants will learn to use AI-driven software to ensure the originality and integrity of academic work, as well as tools for efficiently reviewing and providing feedback on research manuscripts.
Interactive Learning: The LMS platform will facilitate interactive sessions, including lectures, workshops and hands-on activities, allowing participants to engage actively with the content.
Flexible Access: Participants can access materials and sessions at their convenience, accommodating different time zones and schedules.
Hands-On Experience: Practical exercises and case studies will be incorporated to provide participants with real-world experience in applying AI tools to research.
Expert Guidance: The programme will be led by experts in AI and experienced researchers, providing valuable insights and support throughout the course.
Collaborative Environment: Opportunities for networking and collaboration will be integrated, enabling participants to share experiences and insights related to AI in research.
Introduction to AI in Research: Understanding the basics of AI and exploring its potential applications in various research domains.
Enhancing Research Efficiency: Demonstrating how AI tools can streamline research processes, including data collection, analysis and interpretation.
Advanced Data Analysis: Training participants in using AI for advanced data analysis techniques, including predictive modelling, clustering and pattern recognition.
Literature Review and Knowledge Extraction: Introducing AI tools that assist in conducting comprehensive literature reviews and extracting relevant information from large datasets.
Ethical Considerations and Best Practices: Discussing the ethical implications of using AI in research, including data privacy, bias and transparency as well as the Research Ethics in general.
Intellectual Property Rights: Examining how the use of AI in research intersects with intellectual property (IP) laws, focusing on issues such as the ownership of AI-generated data, algorithms and findings, as well as the potential for patenting AI-driven discoveries.
Practical Applications and Case Studies: Presenting real-world case studies demonstrating the successful integration of AI in various research projects.
Networking and Collaboration: Fostering a collaborative environment where participants can share their experiences and insights related to AI in research.
By the end of this programme, both research scholars and supervisors will be well-equipped to leverage AI technologies to enhance the quality, efficiency and integrity of their academic research, thereby contributing to the advancement of knowledge in their respective fields.
Any Artificial Intelligence enthusiast can take this course for their knowledge upgradation and valuation.
